By creating an account or using Plume, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

Plume is an AI-powered content creation platform that uses Claude (Anthropic) to help users write, fact-check, and manage SEO articles. Access requires a paid subscription.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Plume.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• One account per person. You may not share accounts.
• You must provide accurate information when signing up.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically.
• Article credits reset at the start of each billing month.
• Unused credits do not carry over between billing periods.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Manage Billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Plume to:

• Generate spam, misleading content, or content that violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or article quotas through technical means.
• Resell or sublicense access to the platform without our written permission.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

5. Content Ownership

Articles generated through Plume are yours. You own all rights to the content you produce. Plume makes no claims over your generated content.

6. AI-Generated Content

Plume uses AI to generate content. You are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing content before publication. While we include automated fact-checking, we do not guarantee accuracy of AI-generated text. Do not publish AI-generated content without human review.

7. Availability & Limitations

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Generation times depend on AI API response times and may vary. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us or cancelling via the billing portal.

9. Liability

Plume is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
